Elon Musk wants to send 1 million people to Mars by 2050

illionaire Elon Musk revealed that he aims to launch an average of 3 ships a day and this trip will be for anyone who needs to go to Mars.

Site Business Insider reported billionaire Elon Musk is preparing plans to build a city with 1 million people live on Mars in 2050.

On Twitter, Musk said he would build 1,000 reusable Starship ships in the next 10 years. This is equivalent to producing 100 Starship ships per year. Musk also revealed that he aims to launch an average of three ships a day and this trip will be for anyone who needs to go to Mars.

“Anyone can go if they want. We also support loans for people without money. There will be a lot of work on Mars, ”Musk wrote.

If implemented according to design, Starship will be the most powerful rocket launch system ever created. Each launch, it can carry 100 people in orbit at the same time.

Musk hasn’t estimated exactly what to bring to Mars, but he says it will need a lot of food, water, building materials, tools and life support systems. Therefore, it will take a fleet of Starship to realize the desire to build permanent settlements here.

With 1,000 Starship ships sent to Mars, they are responsible for carrying 100,000 tons of material. Each train has the capacity to take 100 passengers. This means that 100,000 people will be sent to Mars every year.

Musk also revealed a new Starship prototype will be introduced in late March. The new prototype was delayed due to the Starship MK1 ship explosion on November 20, 2019.

As explained by SpaceX, the cause of the explosion came from the missile’s pressure control system. Business Insider said the company may be developing 20 different prototypes before they finalize the design.

The full Starship launch system consists of a 22-floor rocket called Super Heavy. Their total height is about 118 m. During the launch, the Starship spacecraft will disconnect after the turbocharger runs out of fuel and launches the rocket into orbit.

Both of these important components are being designed to be reused many times. Musk said that if successful, the cost of each launch will be about $ 2 million , hundreds of times cheaper than the current cost.
In September 2019, he said the company will test a spacecraft into orbit around mid-2020 and can send humans into space later that year.

During a seminar with NASA, Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX’s Chairman and CEO, said the company aims to send Starship to the Moon by 2022. At the same time, they will take Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa for a walk. around the Moon in 2023.

Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa was also the first to buy a flight into spaceX’s SpaceX. Besides finding a female companion to the Moon, the billionaire also selected many other positions for his crew on his flight into space. By January 16, over 20,000 applications for billionaire girlfriend Yusaku Maezawa to join him on this trip.
